Halfway Reflection

Halfway Reflection: 1)       Tenacity- In order to stay up to date with requirements in the course, I kept a planner with all due dates and set aside the same amount of time each week to watch the lectures as well as do the assignment. If I knew I was going out of town, or wanted a break, I worked ahead. 2)       Tenaciousness is about attitude- This class has opened my thought process to look at issues that were different. I felt like giving up when I needed to interview a market segment that was interested in my idea. Since I selected such a specific topic that has a real effect on farmers in the Midwest, I needed to improvise who my market segment was because calling the local state governments would be seen as “going too far” about an idea that was not real. 3)       Three Tips- a.       Be sure to set aside time to think about things bigger than you- the bug list assig...

The reason she started her company was to battle the adversity of gender equality in the workplace and create a business where women could take sales into their own hands without any male counterparts. Her early classes were all based on...

Sketching out the Beginning of the Buyer Behavior Process

1)      Pick a segment For this assignment, I selected a market segment that would be responsible for choosing a monitoring program and also those who had the means to pay for it. The Government, particularly state and local government will be able to make decisions, since I was unable to contact a local government in the Mid-West, I interviewed contacts that I knew who worked for or with the local government. They have experienced flooding but not the levy system. 2)       Find three people who would fit that segment and arrange to interview them.  These interviews, if conducted properly, should take about 10-15 minutes. Any less, and you won't be able to obtain adequate information.  Interview #1 Civil Engineer based in Florida Interview #2 Project Manager for Environmental Engineering Company based in Florida Interview #3 Local Major Assistant Each interview consisted of the following questions: When is the ...
